Old Damascus Program
It is our pleasure to inform you that Old Damascus has been selected for inclusion on the 2008 World Monument Watch List of 100 Most Endangered Sites. The Watch List is intended to call international attention to the challenges and threats facing cultural heritage sites around the world. Inclusion on the list provides an important opportunity for us to promote Old Damascus locally and internationally and to work towards its protection.
