2-Cultural Exchanges between Syria and Mediterranean Countries
Damascus - Istanbul - Barcelona - Montpellier
In 2008, Damascus was the Arab Capital of Culture. In 2010, Istanbul will be the European Capital of Culture. Our project wants to improve the cultural link between these Mediterranean contries of South, and the Mediterranean countries of the North because we believe there is only one Mediterranean Soil and Common roots.

We aim to participate in development of a multi-disciplinary international and scientific project managed by Directorate of Antiquities and Museums of Syria (DGAM). We want to develop e-team between France (Montpellier University and Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Paris) and Syrian institutions, DGAM and University of Damascus.
